Breaking the News

Sorry it has taken so long to make a post. It has been a long but fast few weeks. The beginning of July started with a team from Canada coming to PACE. I know this team and I was very excited to have them here. This made life a little busier but it was a blessing to be with them.
While they were here we told the staff and kids at school that this would be our last long term at PACE. This was a hard time. Knowing it is  happening and saying out loud are two different things. The kids are shocked and there are defiantly more hugs coming but they are doing well. Each day at school now is looked at different. With everyone knowing I really take it all in. The day we told the kids we served them a special meal. Normally they beans and corn (gatheri). We gave them rice, meat, stew, cabbage, orange and muffin. It was a blessing to be able to do this. Next Thursday (Aug. 1) we stay good bye for the last time as the kids head home for Aug. break. Sometimes it is hard to imagine and other times it is best not to think about. But most of all is to remember the blessings they have been as well as how we have been a part of there lives.
