Birds

This short video is a look at some very common birds here in Kenya. They very graciously walk me up at 6:00 am will make this noise most of the day.  They two are nesting in the trees in our back yard.  Normally you can just hear them but not see them but I had a good view so thought I would share.

More Fun

I had another great week in the Library.  This week I read a Curious George story were George received a thank you letter and then wanted to write letters to others.  So I had the kids make Thank you cards. It went quite well.

We have been having a lot of rain here.  It is a blessing but I am ready for some sun again.  There is no paved roads around the school. Just mud which is like clay so very slippery.  Staying clean for me is a challenge but trying.

David is leaving to head back to Canada for month.  It will be a little odd to have no one hear but it will be will.  It will be good when David and Diane return in July.

But with David gone I am back in my house. I was staying with Dorris (another missionary from the US).  David's wife Diane left early to Canada as her Dad passed away.  So I am glad to be back home for a while.

Library Time

Just wanted to share some library pictures.  In my classes last week I ready a Curious George story. Then had them shade (color) a picture. They are always excited when they get to color pictures.
