How Cold is it....

I have always tried to explain the change in temperature here.  How it can be quite warm in the day but as soon as the sun goes away it is cold. I finally have some proof.  We had hail the other day.  I walked home in it.  Here is my proof.

Wedding

I had the privilege to attend a wedding on Saturday.  It was for our former dentist at PACE.  Since leaving PACE he has his own practice in town.  He is also the one that pulled my tooth last year.  It was a honor to be there.

 

Chess

The kids continue to enjoy playing chess.

Time

In one of the Franklin books I was reading it talked about Franklin being slow and how he needed to be on time for a party.  In the library we have a puzzle that one peace shows the digital time and the matching peace shows the face time.  Kids here generally know the digital time but the face clock time is not so easy. So I would show them one side and them make them time to guess the time and that match. They had a good time with it.
